Next year Monty Tech is planning to host a holiday tournament. We're looking to fill a 16 man bracket if more that'd be fine. Please contact Monty Tech Head Coach Kieron Smith either at 978-895-2626 or -email- to concrete a spot in the tournament
Details: Tentative Date Monday December 28th, time 8 AM weigh in, 10 AM start. Will use 3 to 4 mats
Awards: Top 4 place winners will receive medals, Champions will receive wall brackets. Top 2 team trophies, outstanding upper weight and lower weight and fastest falls winner awards.
Please know December 28th is a date that's still very up for debate and not set in stone.

Just so people know this is not a set in stone tournament, we're just trying to see interest first.

It's not set in stone but it holds strong likelihood.

We need to see how much interest we get first.

What teams will be competing? Will it be hard or will it be a d3 fest?

You can bring your butt to one of our D-3 fests. You might learn a thing or two.

Yeah that was quite the offensive remark and also not true considering Monty Tech is D2....

But to answer your question it will depend who's interested, we're hoping for mostly the Division 2 Central teams.

Don't half of the D2C teams wrestle in the Framingham Holiday tournament?

I dont get the point of having another tournement with d2c teams because marlboro already has a lot of them in that tournement as well.

I don't* get the point of having another tournament* with d2c teams because Marlborough* already has a lot of them in that tournament* as well.

Monty Tech doesn't currently go to any Holiday tournaments, we have the space just wanted to see the interest. And Framingham and Marlborough are during different times, and also a tournament is a tournament, match experience for February doesn't matter who's there.

Partly correct Mat experience is a plus but a tournament is not a Tournament, Differnt level tournaments, Lowell is better then marshfield
