Ferzoco beat Ball head to head at New England in the only meeting between the two. Why is this not considered?

plenty of inconsistencies in thought process
120 -
All State - Kelley beats Zaw, NE, Zaw places ahead of Kelly who does not place, Kelley still ahead of Zaw - head to head prevails

132 -
All State - Feye beats Wesinlowskii, NE, Wesinlokisi places ahead of Feye who does not place, but this time the head to head does not prevail

152 -
All States - Ball places ahead of Ferzoco. NE, Ferzoco beats ball - head to head prevails

Looks like Feye got the short end of the stick in your ratings

Kelley and Zaw not comparable to the other 2. Kelley beat Zaw all 4 times they met. If Zaw had placed top 3 at NE maybe a different argument but 4 for 4 hard to overlook

Reco- reread your post. Ball and Ferzoco are 145 not 152. and I think you ment to say. Head to head does not prevail, since Ball is #1 and Ferzoco #2, even tho Ferzoco beat Ball Head to head.. anyways. Sounds like there was some emotion in this post..

Wrestling is all about matchups.. Obvious, Kelly figures out a way to beat Saw, but many matches are close. AllState, Saw was ahead on Pts thru most of 3 periods, Kelley found away. Both are very talented. Anyone spending time with wrestling understands wrestler A beats B, B beats C, and C beats A. Its a crazy sport and matchups/styles are part of the equation. Therefore, it doesn't mean wrestler B is not comparable to Wrestler A. Wrestler B under different circumstances, in a tournament like NE could out perform and place better than Wrestler A. Not sure if head to head or overall performance at an elite tournament should rank?? example: Kellly and Billy have not faced head to head "uncanny", but common opponent at NE, Billy #3 Beats Shorey (ME1) advances to Qtrs finals and Kelly #1 losses to Shorey in Consi. Matchups are part of the sport.

113 confuses me... #7 Bradley Sowsy and #8 Jack Perry both dnp at All States when #9 Carter Lewis placed 7th also during the regular season Sowsy lost to Tom Kearney twice and Carter Lewis beat Tom Kearney at All States Lewis should be 7 Kearney should be 8 Sowsy should be 9 and Perry should be 10 IMHO... other than that looks pretty good

Most of these rankings are what they are. But really despite his N.E. title which was a great accomplishment, how can Murray be rated a better P4P than Jon Ryan? Ryan had a historic career in H.S. and while he never had a N.E. championship he ran a gauntlet of tough weight classes. Last year it was Kevin Jack who is a qualifier at D1 nationals this year and this year 132 had to be the best weight class in N.E. Just my opinion

What match were you watching where Butterbrodt almost got beat? It was closer than usual but he was never in danger of losing.

Early on. Hoes is a stud; no doubt but Butterbrodt is also a stud. I know one thing and that is they both will have future success. You folks are splitting hairs. I guess it's your opinion.

The rankings are DUAL MEET RAKINGS, not tourney team rankings. Nashoba is where they are after a loss to algonquin.

Spoken like a jealous turd... Fritz has earned every bit of the credit people give him. You won't find a harder working kid. If you can't respect that... you're an ignorant fool in my opinion.

I just think there's so many other great wrestlers in the state of Massachusetts and just focusing on a few for example fritz and Butterbrodt is a waste of time because we could be talking that so many other great wrestlers and subjects when just keep talking about the same ones.

Kevin Jack last year comes to mind. I still believe he's greatly underrated.

But do you have to "walk though new englands" to be a great wrestler. Many NE champs have close matches through the tournament, doesn't make them worse.
