How many seconds does the offensive wrestler have to return the defensive wrestler to the mat?

There is no time limit. The offensive wrestler must continually attempt to improve his position (aka.. return the defensive man to the mat). (Sometimes unfortunately) it's up to the referee's judgement to determine what is a real (vs fake) attempt. There are times, as discussed in another thread, when all the top wrestler can do is hang on... but that's a whole other discussion!

Wow. No time limit as long as the top man is legitimately attempting to return the bottom man? It would be nice if everyone knew this rule.

I think almost every singe one of your posts are negative, as well as looking as though an 5 month old baby wrote it.
