The rule that a hair cover must be attached to the headgear is being waived by the MIAA for ONE YEAR.

Same rules as always will apply... no bandanas, must be non-abrasive, etc...

Typical ruling because in Mass we only follow certain rules and make up our own as it fits our needs. It's amazing that out here in the northwest corner of Mass. we have one of those new head gears. Ordered it last week from Matman and received it yesterday.

Ray dont blame the MIAA on this.
Schools were calling MIAA & me stating no companies had any & unsure when they would be in.

They waived it due to that information. If teams couldn't buy them they didn't want wrestlers out due to it.

I didnt call companies to verify took people at their word. It was many. We dont use them so I wouldnt know.

Question though, Are we going to be OK when we go out of state or to the New Englands?

That comment by me has more to do with weigh-ins, weigh-in procedures, and all rules associated with our sport that deals with that topic. Sorry, just venting.

Ray,

How does one spell "manipulation" by the MIAA & its committee?
