Are there forms or a system for rating referee's? I understand it is not a fan favorite position and every call will not sit well with someone, but that is not my complaint. The issue is not about any call or judgement made by the ref, but rather by their overall performance. The Burlington tournament this weekend had 2 referees: 1 was very active, always appearing to try to be in the correct position to make a call, while the other referee never seemed to move with any sense of urgency in any of the 3 matches. Yes, the slower moving ref was slightly older, but didn't appear to be hindered in anyway, by age. Do they not get paid the same amount per match? It felt like which ever teams were on the mat where the older ref was working was at a disadvantage. Very seldom got down on the mat and just moved at a snails pace around the mat.

The refs do get paid the same. There is a system for rating the refs but it is only done by the coaches. If the ref was that bad talk to your coach and see what he says about it.

Yes, As OACoach says, coaches are encouraged to fill out a rating for each official after every event. They can do so online, or by sending in a card. Those cards are used to both help the official approve, and to sometimes affect their future assignments.
