Dear Wrestling Supporters and Enthusiasts,

When we founded Boston Youth Wrestling in 2012, along with coaches and former wrestlers, we wanted to give middle school students in the city of Boston an opportunity that we had at their age to learn and grow from a sport that developed us into more confident, hard-working, self-disciplined, and studious young men. We were witnesses everyday to the dearth of opportunities for our young boys and girls to engage in after school activities that would extend the classroom and teach them valuable lessons about life. These opportunities are largely missing for our kids at exactly the moment when they need them the most. That is why we believe so much in our mission of supporting our youth to personal, academic, and personal success.

Help us reach our goal!

Today we are launching our Inaugural Fundraising Campaign to raise $45,000 to support the expansion of new wrestling programs at four new middle schools in Boston. The funds will be used to equip these four new programs with new mats ($7,000 per mat), wrestling shoes, headgear, and knee-pads. Your support will provide 75-100 middle schoolers in the Boston Public Schools with: coach-mentors that will help them to foster healthy, positive relationships with adults and develop habits of hard work, self-discipline, and perseverance; the encouragement to commit to long-term fitness and wellness goals; opportunities to compete in city-wide and state-wide competitions that will bring pride to the students, their school, and their neighborhoods; and the chance to participate in a growing and diverse community of young wrestlers in the City of Boston from all walks of life.

All help is appreciated, if you can't make a donation please sign up as a fundraiser and forward this email to your friends and family. Please also consider sharing our fundraising page on your social media networks, and help us to spread our message. With your help we can reach our goal!

Thank you,

The Board of Directors, Boston Youth Wrestling
