Locations; Wadsworth Training Center, 40 Kenwood Circle Franklin 02038

King of the Mountain, May 4th and 5th, 2013

Registration/Weigh ins: 7:30am to 9:00am, Saturday morning, May 4th, 2013. All registration is walk in.

Divisions: Elementary (grades 4 & 5), Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 8-12)

Weight Classes: All weight classes will be Madison grouped. This includes the elementary, middle school and the high school division.

Format: Double eleimintion, line bracket., planning to use KAP
Awards: Medals for placing 1 - 3, Wrestling Belts for the champions.

The Top place winners from the high school division will have the option to compete for New England Gold in Detroit for the AAU Olympic Festival, August - 2013.

Accumulative Point System:
Will determine your placement, 1st place 10 points, 2nd place 7points, 3rd place 5 points, 4th place 2 points.

Schedule:
Saturday
Wrestling Starts at 10:00am
Freestyle Takedown: 1/ 3 minute period running time
Freestyle 2 3minute periods running time
Sunday
Doors Open at 9:00am
Wrestling Starts at 10:00am
Folkstyle: 2:00-1:30-1:30
Awards presentation

Entry Fee: $60.00
Admissions: Adults $5.00, students $3.00 coaches with 4 or more wrestlers are free, kids under the age of 12 are free.
Wrestling will be conducted on full. A trainer will be available as well.

So is this two tournaments or is the first day freestyle then day 2 is folkstyle?

The first day is take down & freestyle. The second day is Folkstyle. We did it last year and it was a great tournament.

Sorry for not replying back on this post as often as I should. An AAU card is not a requirement. There are 3 mini tournaments with the takedown and freestyle portion being held on Saturday. Then the folkstyle on Sunday. There is no pre registration, walk ins only with one weigh in the first day. We are planning to use KAP. Each mini event is double elimination. Each mini event will be randomly bracketed with the intention of of having different draws for all three tournaments.
