MA7 and MA8 should be in the tournament along with CT 5 and CT6. It would be nice if the New England council would allow this. It would also be proper. I won't hold my breath though.

With that being said MAU is currently the top program in New England and deservedly so. Please no excuses or caveats. They deal with the hand they have been dealt. They really need to travel just to get tested even slightly. Great coaching, great wrestling, and phenomenal esprit de corps. Congrats MAU.

He's only a freshman! That kids the real deal. Also huge tournament for Cody Hughes, everybody on here counted him out and he took out viruet then lost a close one to larabie and ended up beating fritz for 3rd and 4th! I said it all along he wasn't getting the respect he deserved. Big congrats to mt Anthony.

P. Delgallo wow, only a freshman. Haven't seen much of him in MS. Know alot about Rossitti, and T. Shay, but not much about Delgallo. Came out of know where. Cody hughes is the real deal as well, tough kid works hard. congrats to him.

not everyone ive seen him enough up at the barn hes a tough kid and only a sophmore i believe, the end of the 106 finals was delgallo scoring as time ran out to win he was down by 1 great finish , when his brother wrestled stewart at 138 it was stewart up by 1 as time was running out delgallo was circling behind stewart ,stewart just kept scooting and turning while delgallo chased it they ended up going out of bounds as delgallo finally got there but out of bounds with 2 seconds left great finish

that's why I said everybody on here, not a single prediction even had him in the semis and nobody had him in the top six. But yes he is a sophmore. And from what I've read through the brackets, that Jack kid at 120 is the real deal huh? Was he even scored on? He beat up on some tough as nails kids. Who got the OW's?

OW was C. Labrie (RI1) at 145. Apparently, did not give up a single point all season!

"Best Finals" bout was at 152 with A. Labrie winning in OT/SV over previously undefeated Odell from CT.

Christian LaBrie received the OW. He wasn't scored on the whole season. Andrew LaBrie / O'Dell won best finals match.

Here's a way to improve New Englands for next year:
Bring MA7 & MA8 and CT5 & CT6 into the tourney, which will make 26-man brackets. This way you will have 8 prelim bouts and there will be no byes in the first consolation round.

Wrestle and score for Top 8 places, which will separate the team scoring even more so. As it is, the 7th and 8th kids are already defined, but they simply do not wrestle for 7th: why not?

Either eliminate team scoring or at least add scoring by state and only score the Top 2 seeds (or Top 3 seeds) coming into the tourney, regardless of how kids place at the end.

Finally, is there any way to do some seeding of the #1s and #2s? Too many great bouts occur in the quarter-finals.

170 Antler was dominant in a pretty deep 170. Ow went to the right kid but a shout out to the NE champ at 170.
