this thread used to be the "POST SEASON TOURNAMENT MASTER INFO" thread, but i've re-created it to separate out the off-topic chat going on in it.

here's a link to the new post-season info thread:

It is kind of dumb that they can't waive the single competition on a school night rule and have the semi-finals and finals on the same night.

I think having the team divisional state finals at marlboro hs is kind of weak. Most other sports get a nice venue for state finals, whether it be a college or professional arena. Might just be my opinion but i think having state finals be in a high school gym pretty weak considering teams work all year to make it to state finals

I've been to the dual meet finals in previous years and the gyms haven't been anywhere near full enough with fans to warrant a bigger/"nicer" venue. Wrestling simply doesn't have the fan draw those other sports might have to require a big venue.

its really a shame it doesnt, mike. I was watching the Graham vs Blair match and it looked like they tried to packa whole town in their gym. Id love to wrestle in that type of atmosphere.

How are you going to seed them when no one collected any records from the teams?

It cost 39 dollars to get a family of 4 into dual meet sec yesterday....for that kind of money you would think the M.I.A.A. would at least have enough refs which wasn,t the case for D1N yesterday...are we gonna have to pay that every week?Do they think they're selling tickets to Fenway....What a disgrace!!!
I think they should offer a package deal for 4 weeks...this igonna cost alot of people too much money...and where does it all go?

Shawsheen - anybody know why the results page only lists 7 matches. Are they trying to fly under the radar or did they really not wrestle that much?

Not all results get listed. Basically the results page information is at the mercy of the wrestling community

Shawsheen wrestles a very tough schedule and is in D1 North and wrestle most of the MVC Teams. They could have dropped to D2 but there Coach wanted to stay D1. They have over 20 dual meet victories and are undefeated.

You weigh in both days . 2nd day you get 3 pounds in the morning. ie. 103/105 becomes 108.
