During tough economic times college wrestling teams are some of the first programs to be cut. Right now two New England D3 wrestling teams (Norwich and MIT) are on the chopping block unless people that love New England wrestling (like us) save it. While MIT is not currently asking for donations Norwich University is. They have raised $65,000 to date, and only need $20,000 more to continue their program. If you want to help save New England wrestling please go to this site: [link] and fill out the pledge form. There you will find more info. on the Norwich team and their rich history of tough wrestling. All donations no matter if it's $10 or $100 help. The deadline to donate is May 31st. Please find it in your heart to help save the sport we all love. (all donations are tax deductible. Most donations will be returned if the program is discontinued. Go to the website for more info.)
Sincerely,
Jason York

Wrestling Community,

We really need to rally together for this cause. Although these two programs may not be important to you individually, they are extremely important to New England Wrestling. If we stand by and let two programs (one of which is a military school) drop wrestling, we are left with only 13 Division III college wrestling programs in New England. Soon Athletic Directors will use this as an excuse to drop more programs in New England, which may eliminate the option for New England High School wrestlers to continue their athletic careers in college.

Norwich is not asking for a lot, a small donation will go a long way. Please lend your support and help Norwich save their program and protect the sport we all love. Visit [link] for more information. Thank you for your support.

Thank you for all that have helped Norwich Wrestling so far. They have almost reached their goal. They are only $10,000 away from saving their program. With your help Norwich can continue it's program which gives wrestlers in New England the chance to compete at the college level and get a great education.
With only 2 weeks left to donate, don't delay.
Jason York
