You're lucky Dedham is not in your Division....the tie breaker rules per the MIAA are buried in the National Federation of State High School Assn. wrestling rules....have to be a member to access...I'm sure some of the coaches are members and they could answer the tie breaker question...

that really stinks that North Andover, Natick and Central Catholic are all in the same division as Franklin. I think any of those four teams would win d1 or d3 states too. But it will make for some great match ups though.

Hey Rock, I think anyone can order a rule book from them: go to [link] and left click on "sport and rules info." then scroll down and click on "to order our rules see the NFHS product catalog" then click on "order NFHS publications online at nfhs.com" then click on wrestling and #2 is the rule book and place your order!
Note: I think you will have to buy 2 books as they are only $6.75 each and they require a 10 buck order minimum not counting shipping...The total for 2 books and shipping would be about 20 bucks...Share one with a loved one!

While I'm at it, here are a few bothersome mistakes the ref's sometimes make: If you have your opponent in a high bridge, he is on his BACK and YOU are scoring points, the "height of the bridge DOES NOT MATTER...just look at the rule book and it is clear
If you are on top with "wrong leg in" and you have cleared the arms or gotten behind his arms it is a TAKEDOWN! They even have a picture of it in the RULE BOOK!

you're absolutely right again EJ but I don't think the questioner wanted to go that deep...now if guest would pay off his debts to me I'd spring for 2 and ship one to you...

106inarow....use this and go to page 3.

[link]http://www.miaa.net/Wrestling-format-individual-05-06.pdf

Also try the link in sine qua non's post above. Jim Maher would know better but the team format sites depend on the seedings [probably until the semi's and finals which would be on a neutral site] higher seeds get the home mat just like the other sports. Team duals begin on 2/14 then 2/21, 2/28 . Semi's on 3/8 and finals on 3/11...

I'm not sure but I think the first tie-breaker is loss of team points, then matches won, then pins then God knows what
